A PRIMER : THE PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION
I. HISTORY
The FELLOWSHIP
OF THE LIGHT is the brainchild of Mr. Y.B. Masdal of Zamboanga City, Philippines, a visionary and a fellow faithful
to the Christian Faith. In 2002, Y.B. Masdal had experienced and enlightenment of the soul and a spiritual awakening had begun.
He formed the fellowship in order that he may share this enlightenment and spiritual awakening to others whose soul are athirst
and still longing for the "Light of The Knowledge of the Glory of God" (2 Corinthians 4:4).
II. A DESCRIPTION
OF THE FELLOWSHIP
THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE LIGHT is a fellowship of men and women that seeks the guidance of
the Light---our Lord who is in Heaven---through His Son Jesus Christ.
Introducing you to the movement of righteous
men and women, an aggregation that pursues the idea of attaining the spiritual balance through the propagation of goodness
and the avoidance of every evil things whenever possible.
We seek to propagate the idea that each man should be awakened
to the belief that his or her soul is best kept in the hand of the Lord if he or she shall become a person who always has
a ready helping hand for others, to be able to carry the unfortunate ones like they are brothers and sisters. For there are
many of our fellowmen out there who are drowning through the many sufferings of our present world---of poverty, violence,
discriminations and prejudices---and we shall be the hand that reaches out to these drowning men.
Let us also learn
that prejudice of men for reason of race or religion is anathema to the love of God that the Lord Jesus Christ had taught
mankind. For to love is never to expect anything in return and is never conditional, and every man can attain goodness regardless
of his or her faith. One day, in the Kingdom of God, the eyes of the Lord shall see no difference in race or creed of men.
All men are created equal as a famous norm says. And in the eyes of God, He sees and judges all men equally. Thereon, the
FELLOWSHIP is also a group of men and women coming from different faith or creed, in order for them to embrace each other
like brothers and sisters.
If every action is for the good and every evil things be avoided, then the soul of man
shall see the perfection of his or her faith, and we shall be able to seek the righteous path by this simple rule---a rule
so simple that in each and every day, it is not hard for us to bear in mind. Do all things that are good and avoid everything
that is evil.
We shall attain this path by the guidance of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all the other prophets of the
Lord Almighty, and by these things, we shall never lose our way. The burden is light for all of us who shall be guided by
the Light—through prayers and good deeds we shall attain the path that would carry us towards eternal life.
III.
